At Sugar Blossom, we make jewelry that we all wish existed. Jewelry that tells your story in customizable layers, intricate details, and hidden engravings. But most of all, we make golden essentials that should be lived in, loved, and reflect your personality.
Since 2008, Kelli Miller has brought her fun-loving personality into her designs. What started off as assembling one-of-a-kind jewelry from her mom’s collection and vintage finds has blossomed into something much larger than she ever imagined.
PROCESS
Each Sugar Blossom collection pulls inspiration from what we’re currently loving and dreaming of. Then, we start sketching and every detail is measured and considered down to the millimeter. From sketches to samples, the golden treasures come to life. Our golden rule has always been to make fun jewelry without sacrificing quality materials or practices.
MATERIALS
All our jewelry is made from a base of brass or stainless steel and is free of lead, nickel, and cadmium. Pieces with a shiny gold finish are plated in 14K gold using an ion plating method.
Ion Plating or often called, Physical Vapor Deposition, is the most modern and durable gold plating on the market. This technique is different than the gold plating or wet plating that you’ve likely heard of– in short, its far more durable. The plating we use is 10x more resistant to corrosion than typical gold plating.
